My Story

Hi, I'm Cameron - thanks for looking at my site. Here you'll find out about me,  my skiing goals and my achievements.
I'm 15 years old and started skiing on holiday in France when I was 5. This could have been the end of a very short story, because 5 days into the holiday, I fell and broke my leg!  Luckily I managed to overcome this experience and was back on skis the following season. Thankfully, that's the most serious skiing injury I've had.
I have always loved skiing fast, but when I was 7, I discovered my passion for racing. That was with my school team, where we trained to compete in local and national schools competitions. Now I'm part of many different race clubs.  I train at Southampton Alpine Centre and on indoor snow at Hemel and Landgraaf. In the winter, I train with the British Ski Academy in Les Houches, France.  I feel most at home on snow - I think may have been born in the wrong country!

My ambition is to race for Great Britain and I have been selected for the English Schools Squad for the last six years.

In 2011, I won my first national title - the Scottish Children's Slalom Champion and followed this in 2012 with the Scottish GS title.  In 2013 I won the British Schools' Champion's title and look forward to defending these in the future.
